Joann Goetzinger
I spent the first part of my career in music both in teaching and professional singing. I taught voice for many years and sang two seasons with the Norman Luboff Choir. I became interested in art after taking a few courses for fun. Music seemed to offer me artistic re-creation rather than creation. Art was a more creative process which I liked very much. I enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts degree program at Illinois State University and in 1988 received an MFA in Art Studio. Since that time I have been involved in metalworking and sculpture and more recently, painting.
