Darin Dawdy

Darin's work is painted on wood panels. He applies a sand and plaster mixture on the wood. On this textured surface thin acrylic layers of images and color, abstract in nature, are built up until a rich history has been developed.

Darin's paintings often evoke a primitive mysterious environment. The earthy tones seem to create a quiet world one might image deep within. Darin thinks of himself as a type of modern cave painter.
